The vibrant energy and diverse array of fresh, mostly organic produce, artisanal goods, and delicious prepared foods create a lively atmosphere that feels truly Oakland. From savory tamales and rotisserie chicken to exotic hummus varieties and handmade pastries, every visit offers new tastes and the chance to connect with passionate local farmers and artisans, all set against the beautiful backdrop of Lake Merritt.

One of the best markets in the Bay Area, especially for delicious and diverse prepared foods! I enjoyed the variety of food trucks, from Aí§aí­ bowls to petite donuts. The market was bustling but not overly crowded, with plenty of street parking nearby for convenience. The setting by Lake Merritt offers a lovely backdrop for enjoying your food and exploring the vendors.
