Walking into the lodge, I was greeted by a friendly waitress who quickly made great suggestions, and the meal more than lived up to expectations with generous portions of smoked BBQ meats and delicious sides like crispy French fries and creamy au gratin potatoes. Sitting by the window overlooking Lake Hope on a sunny day made the experience even better, especially sharing a hearty sampler platter with my daughter that had a little bit of everything smoky and flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and after tasting the berry cobbler topped with rich whipped cream, I can't wait to come back again when the weather's warmer to enjoy the deck and those views once more.

I was a bit skeptical when we walked in and saw only a few tables occupied, but our waitress was super friendly and the food turned out to be fantastic with generous portions. I'm a bit quirky about sides, and their French fries were incredible! Overall, it was a great meal with a lovely view of the lake, and I can't wait to come back.
