Stepping into this vintage Ohio bar feels like a dive back into the 1950s, where the dim lighting and no-frills atmosphere set the stage for a hearty, unapologetic meal. The BPTS arrives hot and satisfying, evoking nostalgic memories with its straightforward porky goodness, while the scramboli-a hearty mix of home fries, eggs, veggies, cheese, and ham-comforts like a warm, home-cooked embrace. Though the service moves at a leisurely pace and the ambiance is rugged, the genuine character of the staff and the authentic flavors make every visit a memorable experience worth repeating.

Located in an Ohio rust belt city, Lombardo's is a classic 1950s bar and restaurant that has retained its original charm since opening. Upon entering, I was struck by the venue's nostalgic, no-frills atmosphere and the lively banter among the staff and regulars. I ordered the BPTS, a hot and satisfying dish that brought back memories of childhood, and found myself considering a return visit to explore their breakfast offerings.
