My experience with this establishment was absolutely horrible. I was planning my husbands surprise 30th birthday party and decided on this place as they could easily accommodate what I was looking for (or so I thought). I call 80...9 a little over a month in advance to book the reservation for his party for 30 people. I spoke with the manager, Stephen, and was told "We got you down!" The party fast approaches, and I wanted to make sure everything was set for the party. I called 809 to confirm my reservation, and assured that they had me down for 30 people. When guest started arriving the night of the surprise party, they were informed that there was no reservation!! I received a phone call and was told what was going on. I spoke to one of the wait staff who said that it was not a problem, they would get it all taken care of. After getting off the phone, I was a little nervous things would not turn out right, but the waitress had told me it was no big deal so I was trying not to stress.When my husband and I arrive at the party, everything seemed to be going as planned. After everything settles down from the the big surprise, I come to find out we only have one server for our large party!!!! I was a little taken back by this, as I knew it was going to be hard for him to take care of our party alone. This is where everything really started going downhill....Our server only waited on 1/3 of the guests and very poorly at that. He completely ignored everyone else in the party. Guest were having to constantly get up and down to go to the bar to get any drinks, refills, etc. I ordered food for my husband and myself (Two Smoked Turkey Croissants) and after roughly 45 mins began to wonder where our food was. I went to the bar and asked the bartender and she apologized for our waiter as he was NEW!!!!!!So on top of only putting one server on our party, they put a new server at that! I was told by the bartender she would get my order in and it would be taken care of. I was then informed by the bartender that Stephen (the manager wh...o took my reserv) stated that he never talked to me and took my reservation!!! I go back to join the party, and everyone was looking for our waiter. We had some people who wanted to leave, others who wanted to order food, some needed drinks, etc. (This is why more than one server was needed!) Our server did not appear for 20+ minutes!!! When he finally showed, I asked where my two sandwiches were, he said "Sorry I am new, and I have three other tables" That really set me off!!!! Becasue of his other three tables, he chose to completely ignore us. At this point I was extremely furious with the whole situation. I went out to talk to the manager who was on duty. The manager happen to be Stephen and when I explained the situation, he acted like it was no big deal and he didn't give a crap about any of it. Needless to say, after two hours of waiting on my two sandwiches, I got one. It took another 15-20 minutes to finally get the second. After calling the General Operations Manager, they comped our food. However, this does not make up for the way that the night went. We of course still had fun with our family and friends, and enjoyed our time with our loved ones who flew in from out of state just for that night. I recommend to anyone and everyone not to go to this establishment EVER!!! The manager and waitstaff are rude and lack experience and professionalism.
