The fish and chips here are simply outstanding, featuring thinly battered halibut and fresh-cut fries that are served in generous portions at a reasonable price. The family-run business is always bustling with patrons, a testament to its quality and popularity, making it well worth the wait for an unforgettable meal.

Post frying in tallow (vegetable oil now). The Haddock is good but I find that halibut to have a dry taste to it. Chips have been horrible the past few years (been told by staff their supplier has been giving them a different type of potato) burnt look and taste to them completely inedible. And now with the great price increase I can't recommend anymore.

We have enjoyed many years eating at Danny's. We have found over the last 3 visits that the Halibut portion is less despite increase in price. Accept food prices have changed but portion should not when paying upgraded price. We decided to try one more time yesterday. Fries were burnt and should not have left the kitchen The waitress as usual was very nice. We will not be back. Too bad.

We have been eating Dannys Fish and Chips for the last 17 yr...the last 3 times we have ordered the chips are so brown they are not really eatable..I realize the everything has gone up and we pay but to get home and only find that the fish is eatable at that price is disappointing..hoping things will improve as we just had a price increase...Best Fish
