I absolutely love the cookies from this bakery - they are simply the best I have ever had. The bakery itself is fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious treats. My top picks are their sugar cookies and snickerdoodles - they are always my go-to choices!

I was in North Carolina the other day and saw the Shirley's Whoopie Pie. Chocolate vanilla. I bought one. Sooooo good. Soft cookie/cake. Creme filling is so sweet and just enough to compliment the cookies. I bought 2 more for the road.
