You can't let a disabled Veteran & service dog eat in your business, Then I don't need to eat there either! Shame on YOU!!!

China House in Littlestown, PA
Please do not eat at this place. We were there when a Disabled Veteran came into the restaurant with his family and his service dog. The woman at the desk went back to get the owner and the owner said they could not bring in a pet. The Veteran said it is a service dog. The dog had it's service dog attire on it that said he was a service dog. The owner still said the service dog had to leave. The veteran respectfully told the owner that in America if you own and operate a business he has to follow the American Disability Act which allows him to have the service dog with him. The owner would still not listen to him. The veteran called the police to have them talk to him. The owner still refused to let the man in with his service dog. The policeman tried to explain to the owner that he has that right and is protected by the American Disability Act. I hope they file a formal complaint with an ADA enforcement agency. I will be trying to do that also for this sweet man who fought in a war for the country I live in. God Bless all who have and are currently serving.
I will not even look in that direction whenever in Littlestown..

I've never had a problem with the food or the service at China House. They are very friendly and accommodating. One time there was a small mix up with our order but we didn't lose sleep over it and chalked it up to them being busy. It wasn't worth even mentioning (I believe it was a mixup with the type of rice we ordered.) We've been getting food there since they opened and the food and service has always been excellent.

We called into China House to place an order to go. The lady who answered the phone took my order incorrectly. We ordered fried rice with our meal and the lady who answered the phone obviously thought we ordered white rice because when we got home that's what we got. We called them to let them know, the lady who answered the phone never apologized, instead she argued and told me that!s what I ordered. She finally asked what she can do. I told her I would like a free meal next time, she said she couldn't, do that, she put the owner on the phone and said we can get a pint of free fried next time. We told them. We didn't want that because the meal we order comes with fried rice. We suggested that we get a free meal, they were so animate about it and treated us so rude. We have been ordering food from this restaurant on a weekly basis for 3 years. We could not believe how we were treated.

This little restaurant has the best food and very friendly staff. They use fresh ingredients and the food is always abundant and hot. A great deal for little money!

China House was recommended by friends. It's a small, warm restaurant with an enthusiastic and helpful staff. Everything was cooked to order and we thoroughly enjoyed the won ton soup, egg rolls, fried rice and coconut shrimp. Servings were large so that we had some to take home for dinner. It's only 8 miles from Taneytown, so go often. We will.
