The homemade ice cream, especially the Oreo flavor, stands out with many varieties to choose from, and the staff are generally friendly and patient, particularly when managing children excited about multiple flavors and toppings. The food offerings, such as the grilled chicken parmesan and chicken strips with mashed potatoes, are satisfying and well-prepared, contributing to a classic small-town diner atmosphere that can get busy but moves efficiently. While service is usually quick and pleasant, there was a disappointing experience near closing time when a young customer was turned away despite a simple request, which left a lasting impression.
