Lavish!

I would give Tipsy a 10+ but it only goes to 5. I love BBQ and have tried several in the Phoenix valley. This is easily in the top two and actually I would rate it the top one. It's a little hole in the wall with not much seating. BUT it is clean, friendly, cozy and some of the best music I have had the pleasure of listening to while in a restaurant"¦perfect for a BBQ joint. That's the environment. The food is even better. They serve the ribs naked with the sauce on the side. I always wonder why ribs are served lathered with sauce. What is trying to be covered up? Aren't the ribs any good? Not here"¦no fear"¦because the ribs are top notch. The brisket as well as the ribs are first rate but what really gets a top grade are the sides. Beans, potato salad, cole slaw and Mac and cheese. Good BBQ takes skill but what really makes the BBQ are the sides. My mouth waters as I write this thinking about them. That is what sets Tipsy apart from all others. ALL their sides are worth the trip alone (I cannot say that about any other BBQ spot). Add the meats and you have died and gone to BBQ heaven.
Don't pass up this opportunity"¦stop in. I promise you will not regret it.
