The food is good. The prices are high for a hole in the wall place like this.
I usually go to Brad's Fish N Chips down the street but they were closed today so I went to Lou's again. I've been there once before. Everything was how I remembered it. The food is very good, but the prices are steep and portions small. I ordered a combo to go.
3 pieces of cod (I'd estimate around 3oz each), 1 shrimp and a side of onion rings was $12 !
Lazy Lou's charges as much as a full blown restaurant like Taylor's Chowder House up on 35th AVE, but Lou's offers less ambiance and fast food type service. Good food, but overpriced. For $12 at Taylor's you get two HUGE cod pieces. Each as large as 3 pieces from Lazy Lou's !!!
