On a rainy Super Bowl Sunday, I finally made the trip to South Side Slopes and was immediately captivated by the cozy, boutique-style bakery with its fresh, flavorful offerings. The fluffy biscuits paired with inventive fillings like brisket and white BBQ sauce were unforgettable, and the sticky pecan bun practically melted in my mouth-each bite revealing the skill and thoughtfulness behind every pastry.

I finally visited this bakery I've been eyeing for a while and grabbed some breakfast and treats for a party. The egg biscuits with ham and hot honey, and bacon and onion jam were incredible, so fluffy! The pecan stick bun was sticky and loaded with pecans. The oatmeal cookie sandwich and lemon bar were delicious, but the hostess cake and chocolate covered strawberry cupcakes weren't as popular.
