I really wanted to like the food at Fresh Thyme Soup Company. So many people had told me that the soup and sandwiches were the greatest around. My husband and I had lunch there today. It was a huge disappointment. First, the counter people were rushed (it had just opened) and someone that obvious was the manager or owner was barking orders and acting rude behind the counter. The young women who brought our order out to the table practically throw the plates down and did not even acknowledge us, when we thanked her. I ordered clam chowder soup and my husband had the green pea soup. Both the soups were flat with no evidence of seasoning (I have had can soup that tasted better). The sandwiches we had with the soup were totally unremarkable. The tab (with tip) was $30.00 which was way to expensive over priced for this mediocre lunch.
