I was hesitant when a friend suggested checking out the new gay bar in North Portland for Halloween, but decided to give it a shot. Despite the intimidating exterior, stepping inside revealed a welcoming atmosphere with great music and a fog machine, making it one of the friendliest gay bars I've experienced. With a giant rainbow flag outside and a clear stance against intolerance, along with my friend bartending there, this newly transformed spot promises some exciting gay-friendly fun that I definitely plan on revisiting soon.
