Coco, just a short walk from my work, serves some of the smoothest and most flavorful bubble teas I've tasted, from mango green tea to seasonal taro milk tea. The shop is cozy and unassuming, tucked away near the subway station with quick, friendly service that makes waiting in line feel effortless despite the small space. Though prices have risen since their early $2 boba days, the nostalgic vibe and the variety of unique drinks, like the hoji and brandy milk tea made with real Hennessy, keep me coming back whenever I'm in Elmhurst.
