During my visit to this historic Chinatown restaurant, the service was incredibly fast and friendly, and the food exceeded all expectations with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. I was especially impressed by the Mongolian Beef and Hong Kong style pan-fried noodles, which were some of the best I've ever tasted, and the spring rolls remained delicious even when eaten cold the next morning. The nostalgic ambiance, complete with vintage decor and knowledgeable staff, made the experience memorable, and I look forward to returning on my next trip to San Francisco.

I was first introduced to the Far East by my then new friends. I couldn't help but instantly falling in love with this place. My eyes were attracted by the antique decor and ambience in every direction. Of course we went straight into the curtained dining room. It was big enough to fit a table and six chairs around the round table. We all ordered ' clay pot '. They served beef, pork,chicken, vegetable and tofu. Each mouthful was hearty and flavorful. The waiter dressed in white shirt black slacks and red vest. He was attentive and welcoming, joking with us in our jovial mood. I went back in 2021 and the service was limited due to the pandemic. My heart sank when I heard that the owner may close or have to sell. I grew up in the SF Bay Area, my family visited Chinatown often and it was a great treat. I still love Chinatown and the people who make it what it is.
