Today, I ventured to the south side of town with a sudden craving for BBQ and was pleasantly surprised to find West Texas still open. The line was short, and I ordered the rib lunch special with two sides, enjoying the generous portions and friendly staff in the rustic, barn-like interior. The flavors were impressive, although some dishes could use improvement, making it a place worth trying if you find yourself in the area.

Excellent barbeque. I take it to my Son for his lunch hour at work. He loves it also.
