Im not really rating this by the restaurants service, I am just rating it on their choice of entertainment, Doug Thomas is the most amazing solo artist you will ever hear in or out of Michigan. Hopefully you will appreciate his worth!!!

Very friendly, Travis took care of us on our last visit along with our friends.. I recommend the ribs along with a 30oz Sam Adams! No more time than any other place to be served your order. Relax! Enjoy your stay. We were on vacation and the last thing I worry about is how fast we leave. Will be back again! :)

Try the bluegill pan fried! Everything is great. Don't whine about service in the summer when they can't handle all th out of towners in line waiting for dinner.Have a large beer, if you can, and sit and take a breath. Bob and his brother will take good care of you if you give then a chance.

Dined there last night (Wednesday). Ordered hot wings, a sirloin and cod dinners. After waiting a really long time the waitress said there was a miscommunication and the steak would be a few more minutes and did we want the rest of our food. We waited almost an hour. The steak was overcooked. I asked for vinegar for my fish and got olive oil. The waitress did take the fish off my bill (without me asking). Disappointing.

I would have given a better review because the food is generally good but the service is so slow and uneven that I personally have witnessed customers leave in exasperation-the customer certainly does not come first in this establishment-the owners seem indifferent to legitimate complaints-it appears only relatives are members of the waitstaff. Apparently ownership does not care enough about its cusomers to provide a "feel good" experience that would cause repeat business-unless you come just to imbibe at the bar.

Burtons is all about food, friends and atmosphere....do not expect to be in and out in the summer time, just relax and enjoy urself, or dont take up a table so then those who appreciate the restaurant and staff can do so......

Have been there numerous times. Service is not consistent, but man is the food good. In the summer you can sit outdoors by the docks.

Service here is always slow, but our last visit was unreal. With two kids in tow, we arrived at about 6:00 PM. Placed our order at 6:15. We left at 7:40, our food hadn't even been started yet. Unbelieveable.
