Court Yard was our favorite restaurant in Alpena. We just picked up a specialty pizza for close to $30.It was a large, but at best the size of a medium. The thin crust was like reheated old thin bread. I had to wait about 10 minutes over the time specified and when it came out it was barely warm. The toppings were good, but I'll never get their pizza again. We get take out because I'm still uncomfortable in restaurants because of Covid. I had pizza, and my favorite prime rib, before the pandemic and loved it. Too bad I can not get take out of the quality we had with inside dining.

I ate at the Court Yard nine nights in a row while on business in Alpena. What a gem of a find. The food was wonderful and atmosphere fantastic and the owners and staff were delightfully friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about what a great experience I had.

THIS PLACE IS HAS A WONDERFUL SETTING, FROM THE VERY DARK AND MEDIEVAL BAR AREA TO THE LIGHT FULL OF WINDOWS UPPER ROOM WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THE BAY.

THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT I RECOMMEND THE MASSIVE RISOTTO CROQUETTES AS AN APP. THE MENU IS VERY DIVERSE AND PRICED ACCORDINGLY.. YOU DEFINITELY GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. NOT EASY ON THE WALLET BUT YOU WILL ENJOY WHAT YOU'VE ORDERED.
