Feeling a bit adventurous and hungry, I found myself at a Szechuan restaurant where the servers speak Mandarin and some Cantonese, with no English in sight. The braised eggplant smothered in spicy sauce and shredded pork was a standout, and the Yangzhou fried rice, packed with large shrimp, hit the mark too. Even though the ambiance is average and could use some freshening up, the authentic flavors and great prices make it a favorite for locals looking for a satisfying meal.
