The food at the restaurant was quite good, although the service was a bit slow, possibly due to understaffing. We visited on a Saturday after spending time at 1001 Pots. The espresso at Mouton Noir is exceptional, showcasing their expertise in coffee beans and preparation, which is a welcome addition to the area. The staff and owner are friendly, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the poutine with rosemary sauce was particularly delicious. The overall experience at Le Mouton Noir in Val-David was fantastic, with pleasant decor, helpful servers, and delicious food that left us thoroughly satisfied.
