Love this place

We are two couples who had a wonderful lunch outside here. The mussels and lobster rolls were delicious and tender. The experience was so good it brought us back for dinner inside in the evening. Seafood, dessert, atmosphere and service were excellent and friendly. Highly recommended.

My cousin and I, with our respective partners, had the most fabulous dinner at the Merchantman Pub last summer. It was beyond good, It was exquisite, well presented and the waitress was tremendously knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to "people from away" who were joining us "people not from away"!!!!. We are getting together again this year when my cousin comes home and the Merchantman is our choice again for dinner reservations. I do wish they still had their escargot appetizer as I do prefer them over oysters, but both are fantastic.
