I went there for many years for breakfast, loved the burrito..then it was gone...burgers when they were one tasty patty changed to two thin tasteless patties..Sad to see a spot I enjoyed so much go down hill as it did...Just looked at their web page today to see if maybe they changed, nope...Miss going there but the good old days have long gone...

Don't expect much be patient! The beer 88%of the time is warm. Food is usually a miss! But hey as long as you are ready to lower your basic expectations. The bathroom reminds me of the sh-t ponds in Kandahar!! Buy some bleach!!!!

Dirty and bad food quality.
Do not try to talk or communicate with the staffs or the owner if you don't wanna get personal abuse.

I have always loved this place, food was always great. but then they changed the menu and the place lost something. .Example, burgers use to be one burg nice, thick, tasty, then it was two thin burgs on one bun, not the same taste..i use to go every weekend for breakfast, but that menu got slimmed down. So, I don't go any more.. i still check on line to see if they change back to their old way of cooking, but not yet.When they do, if ever, I will go back..

This has always been my go to when it's up to me to choose a place. Of course my favourite is the patio where I'm actually headed to tonight with some friends. It's a first time for them and I'm sure they will not be disappointed. The atmosphere, the food and the wait staff all get an A.

We love the Ale House! Really good food, the appetizers are fantastic! The staff is always friendly and the beer is always cold. They have three best patio in the city and we really enjoy day or night.

My wife and I have visited the London Ale House many times both together and with friends. They offer basic bar food and lots of beer choices. Now that spring has finally arrived, their patios were our preferred locations. The negative though is that smokers rule especially on the Dundas Street side. Smokers stand in the open doorways and snd windows and the smoke drifts into the main restaurant area ruining the experience for anyone not having the need for a nicotine fix. I don't know which disgusts me more: the lack of concern by the smokers or the indifferent attitude of the management and staff for permitting it to happen. We will find another bar where we don't have to breath dirty air.

You know, sometimes reviewers get caught up in trying to be chefs or restaurant owners themselves...then we miss the amazing points of really great establishments...like the Ale House. They cook from scratch, they offer huge portions, they have a great atmosphere inside with tons of seating options and screens to watch, or an intimate bar setting, and outside in summer they have THE best patio I've seen in London. There's even a second streetside patio. Servers are attractive and friendly. Even the guys are wearing kilts here. Tons of beers to choose, ciders, varied menu...really impressed. Keep up the great work Ale House staff!
