Danielle's axe to grind is a mystery to me, but the Bamboo Inn has been a beloved Brocklehurst establishment for years. Their quick delivery of hot and delicious food makes them a go-to option in the area. While the decor at their restaurant in Brock Shop may not be the most appealing, the consistently great food always hits the spot.

Good food and prices

Last night 01 Oct 2019 might have been the longest I have ever waited for my chinese food in 38 years. I am not a regular customer but when Chinese food is wanted I go to Bamboo Inn. I phoned at 1600 hrs and was met by a fax machine blast. I waited 3 or so minutes and called again. Busy. so about 1605 my call was answered and taken. I was told 30 minutes . I drove over there and waited until 1653 for my order. Meanwhile I watched a party of one and another of 3 people come in. They were served drinks and then main meals. I waited. So I came home with my supper. The soup was excellent. The egg rolls beautiful and most of the meal was pretty fair. We did find there were no sesame seeds and no fortune cookies but they have never been too generous with those items. All in all the food was acceptable the wait time inexcusable. It may take time for me to ring them again.

Food was very average for taste. Small $35 order took just over an hour and a half on a Wednesday. Very small portions, a large war wonton was one med container (filled a soup bowl at home) when I phoned to question if correct order was sent I was hung up on. Small portions with equal price as a few restaurants in town that provide better quality, selection and servise. Slow and poor service provided would not return or recommend!
