My wife loves the Garnet, so we've visited several times and always enjoyed generous portions, reasonable prices, and a fun, classic diner atmosphere with an unusual twist. The staff is polite and attentive, the menu offers unique and delicious choices like eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes and homemade lemon curd, and the overall experience is consistently excellent.

I had the jalapeños cheddar bacon soup. It was delicious. Enough heat to get my attention, but not overly hot. Really creamy, with potatoes and carrots, as well.

Different types of foods, not your typical breakfasts. My daughter didn't like the wheat pancakes. Feels like they're trying to be very California. Tons of other breakfast places we would prefer to go.
