When the staff realized they had forgotten my soup, the gentleman quickly flagged me down and brought it along with some snacks as an apology, turning an unexpected mistake into a pleasant surprise. Later, the management helped me perform a random act of kindness by offering a great deal on subs for the Marathon County Sheriffs Deputies during the lunch rush, which both they and I truly appreciated.
