Good food and good service

Whenever I'm craving a taste of Hawaii, I head to Kazy's for local favorites like Renoldo's Portuguese sausage, red hot dogs, and lau lau. Even though prices are a bit steep, the quality and service make it worth it. The convenience of fast service and mouthwatering dishes keep me coming back for more.

Kazy's sushi bar consistently serves the best and most reasonably priced Japanese foods (rice bowls and sushi) that I have ever found in my 17 years in DFW. They've just renovated and it looks very nice, but not too posh for a grocery store / sushi bar.
The grocery section is well stocked and organized, and full of specialty items. To me it is a wonderland. You can buy quail eggs, bonito flakes, green tea soup mix and soo much more.
They also sell kitchen equipment, ranging from the very fancy to the mundane. I have only gotten a bento box and a mat to roll sushi, but they also have cook books, tea sets, knife sets, sake decanters and on and on.
I read before the first time that I visited that it had an unpleasant fish odor. I am not exactly sure what people expect out of a fish vending business, but, even so, I never have detected any unpleasant odors at all. Perhaps it was an issue they had years ago, but not now.
It is a small place, run by Japanese people, and it has so much to offer. If you are close enough, I highly suggest you visit at least once.
