The Gumbo at Chris's Poboys is a must-try, especially with their Christmas special that did not disappoint. I ordered through Waitr and got $5 off with code Local5, making it an even better deal. Their roast beef po-boy and combination platter are my favorites, and the gumbo is delicious when served hot alongside their tasty potato salad. Best Po boy's around. Simply Delicious. I tried a little something different today than my usual the Chris Special it was delicious. I normally eat the shrimp but I am going to have to mix it up every now and them. The best po boy's in Lafayette.

This is the most terrible poor boy restaurant in lafayette, not simply because the food is of good quality, it is a plain rip off! I was extremely dissatisfied upon paying 8 dollars for french fries and half of a shrimp po boy when the po boy itself was the size of a regular thing sliced ham sandwich on regular bread, it was horribly small and not filling! Your best bang for you buck for some great po boys is lafyette's old tyme grocery.
