Recently had lunch at a small drive-in on N. Alexander (Hwy 1) in Port Allen where I tried the shrimp po'boy and the shrimp wrap, both of which were very enjoyable. The food is good for what it is, with options like hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, and shakes, all served quickly and at a fair price. The chicken fried steak was surprisingly tasty, and the chocolate shake was a highlight of the meal. The setting includes indoor seating for about 20 people and outdoor dining with three picnic tables, making it a convenient spot for a quick and satisfying meal.
