Cheap meats, ordinary. Would not visit again.

Hartle's opened a Smithsburg branch last December. I was hopeful; I was disappointed. One of the counter people told me that their hot subs are precooked and they taste like it. I had to wait a total of about 20 minutes in line and for the sub. They certainly aren't quick. They advertise they've been open 50 some years. Well, I've been alive for 58 years and the steak & cheese sub I had tonight was THE worst sub I've had in my life. The last mouthful was nothing but grease. They have an extensive menu, but after this experience I'm not brave enough to try them again.
