its look like a bar than a restaurant but I love the place anyway. Their foods are great.

I have eaten there once and my husband enjoyed the Turkey Chili but the Chicken Sandwich I had was a bit rubbery. There were some other menu items I would like to try so I will definitely go back. Drinks are a bit pricey but it is Pasadena afterall. The atmoshphere is really cool. I was especailly impressed with the absence of HUGE plasma TV's and the background music was at such a level that I could actually have a conversation without shouting. The only drawback was that smoking was allowed in the "outside" bar area. I only witnessed 1 person smoking so it did not bother me. The inside portion of the Bar does NOT allow smoking and has tables and comfy chairs. I recommend this place for the atmoshere and the friendly staff and will give it another try. Its worth it. Try parking in the huge parking lot behind Ross Dep't store or Valet for 5 bucks.

This is not a restaurant -- its a bar. It has a menu of about six items, including mac & cheese and peanut butter and jelly. Save your money and go to a real restaurant. If you go there for dinner you will be very disappointed (and embarassed if you are taking someone there). Its a good place for late night drinks, but not much else.

I love this place. I discovered Magnolia this past summer and have been a weekly visitor ever since. The space is awesome (the only outdoor bar with it's own tree that I've ever seen), the food is great (the best burger in the LA area0 and the staff is, what, friendly? Yes a friendly wait staff and cool bartenders without 'tudes. What a concept. I hear a second location is in the works....somewhere. Pasadena needed Magnolia.
