My mom, who is currently in the Falmouth JML called the clam shack today to ask about their fried clams. She hasn't has them all summer due to her illness and she is 80 years old. She called and asked where their clams came from and if they were Ipswich clams the person on the phone got a manager on the phone and he said they are not Ipswich clams but they are just as good and are from Cape Cod. She then asked about the price for a small side order and he gave her the price and then she asked about the clam plate price. The man said "if you have to ask what the price is for a clam place then you probably don't want the clams" can you believe it! my mom is in a nursing home and I am heading down the cape to visit and I was going to pick up lunch for us on Friday which is tomorrow as of this review. I cannot believe the rudeness of this person and the way he spoke to my mom. I never post reviews, but in this case I had to tell this to the public as this is a horrible way to treat your customers. I would not recommend going to this establishment, they need to learn how to speak with customers asking questions as they do not know what there situation is nor do they care. btw, my mom hung up on him after he stated that. PLEASE DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE, THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.

Fabulous and fresh!!! Fried oysters and the haddock were amazing!! Even the coleslaw was the best. This place is the real deal!

We get take-out here regularly and have always found it to be good. I believe the ownership changed last year and the quality is much improved. Clam plate and cole slaw yummy,

We've been eating here every summer for several years. We were astonished at the change in food quality since last June. The fried lobster on brioche roll was very greasy, the batter was not flavorful and was crumbly. Clam chowder was soupy, few clams, and also lacked flavor. Oh yes, the cost for lunch was over $100. We were so disappointed, I doubt we'll ever return. Time to find a new casual seafood restaurant.

Good clam shop in Massachusetts. There are lots of choices around here but I like them. Always fresh and good.

I am a Falmouth resident and thought I would try for dinner. I must admit I found it to be less than appetizing, dirty inside, pricey and what annoyed me more than anything was the cheapest plastic and paper plates. Broke my fork on the first attempt. I don't mind paying but I would not recommend nor would I eat there again. As far as cleanliness it was disgusting and as soon as you walk out the door the area is littered with debris..
