Our group, consisting of several kids and adults (one of whom did not eat meat), enjoyed a generous sampler plate with various meats and sauces. The desserts, particularly the cheesecake and red velvet cake, were delicious, though we were disappointed that the peach cobbler was sold out. Overall, the experience was satisfying and the price was reasonable for the amount of food and quality of BBQ we received.

Prices went up to 13.49 for a brisket sandwich and the portions got smaller it was you could hardly eat a sandwich. Now you still hungry. 50+ dollars for two to eat and still be hungry not good.

This is one of the best BBQ places I've visited... and I've got a LOT of experience eating BBQ! The beef sandwiches are huge & the beef is so tender, it nearly melts. The beans are outstanding & the ribs... oh the ribs!! It's only open Friday, Saturday & Sunday, but if you get the chance.... it's worth the wait & the drive, even with today's gas prices!!

Porky's serves up the best pulled pork we've ever tasted, from coast to coast. We take an extra pound home with us after having a lunch there, and use some of it in our ramen noodles. OMG DELICIOUS!

Porkys is definetly the best bbq in town....im from chicago and i always brag about their bbq ribs back at home....i've been to several bbq restaurants in kc, and porkys is number one on my list....

They have the best ribs in the world. I've had BBQ all over the states and nothing compares to them. The food or service will never fail you. The only bad things are there hours and cash or check only. You owe it to your self to make it out there if you are fortunate to have the time to hope they are open.

This is some of the Best BBQ I have had. The bones fall out of the ribs they are so tender. The pulled pork is so good. It is like candy to your mouth.
Every thing I have had at this place is awesome and the staff is very friendly.

Ate here with a friend on Sunday 8/8/10 and it was so good. Had the brisket sandwich w/beans and my friend had the pulled pork w/cole slaw. The meat was soooo tender and the smoked flavor was great. Didn't really need to add any sauce. Great place.

Wanted some brisket last night. Stopped to get cash. Got to porkys @ 4:30 on Sunday 8-8-2010 and it was closed. Web site says it's open till 5 on Sunday. Very disappointed.

I respect them not taking credit... our nation needs to be weaned off debt anyway! I've never had ribs with such a solid smoked taste. You can tell when there's a solid dark color on the outside that the meat isn't just quick smoked like most bbq places.

The best Ribs I can remember and fantastic beans. Not my favorite sauce but the ribs are too good to put sauce on anyway.

their burnt end sandwich is to fantastic.
It is very large and only $5.99
be sure to get a regular size beans and mix them with the ends that fall out of your sandwich.

Don't let this place get by you, as it is little out of the way but THE BEST BBQ in the KC area! Brisket soooo tender you won't ever go anywhere else. They are open Friday-Sunday and by Thursday I get the itch for my weekly fix. You won't be sorry and the sauces are great also!

The ribs are tender and good. Brisket sandwiches are good and baked beans are good also.
Wish they had burnt ends but I think they put them in the beans. Great place to eat.

Very clean, and the best BBQ in the midwest. These guys know what they are doing.
