After a four-hour train ride into Seattle, the hunger was immediate and the bustling line outside this bakery drew me in with its promise of warmth and flavor. The smoky salmon pate and savory beef and cheese pastries were comforting bites, their fresh dough and rich fillings offering a cozy embrace against the city's cool, gray air.

After a long train ride to Seattle, I was excited to visit Pike Market. I enjoyed delicious pastries from a popular bakery, especially the smoked salmon pate piroshky.
