The BLT featured plenty of crispy bacon, toasted buttered bread, fresh tomato, and a decent amount of mayo, while the fries were hot, crispy, and seasoned well. The bartender was initially slow to take my order but became attentive throughout the visit, and the bar offered a lively atmosphere with a solid beer selection and appealing specials like $1 wings and baked oysters. Although the food leaned toward fried options and the coleslaw and potato salad were underwhelming, the overall experience with friendly staff and a community vibe made it a good place to enjoy drinks and watch a game.
