Bar One in Milford, NH, offers an exceptional dining experience with amazing food, creative drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere. Despite some service inconsistencies, the delicious menu and friendly staff make it a must-visit for anyone craving great flavors and a lively vibe.

The food and drinks at Bar One were enjoyable, and the ambiance was good. However, the service experience was lacking as our waitress seemed unfriendly and disinterested. Despite this, the gluten-free menu options were appreciated, and overall, the experience was positive.

My grandson and I stopped at Bar one on our way home. We were hungry and we could sit outside. Service was slow, but we had plenty of time to chat and catch up. I was impressed with new variety on the menu. Combinations of food were tempting. We loved our food. We realized it was probably a small kitchen, so we were happy to wait, and the wait was worthwhile!

Great place for food and drinks. A smaller restaurant so large parties may have to wait awhile to be seated, but the staff is always friendly. 'Disgusted Customer' from 09/14/2018 should probably just go back to Boston because no Milford is not Boston and it would be nice if people didn't Mass up NH.

So I just moved to the Milford area from Boston, MA. Very different scene, but the Bar One seemed to be a unique place to try out. My first encounter there, myself and my husband only ordered drinks. The drinks were great and I was very pleased. Next time, we wanted to try the whole experience food and all. We ordered Nachos to start, which were not to our liking, they were made up of all vegetables. I find this to be a weird and gross combination. For our meal we ordered a simple cheeseburger. One hour later our server comes over and says "oh you have recieved your meals yet" and goes to check on our food. He comes back out explaining to us how there is no burger meat left. ONE hour after we ordered need I remind you. At this point it was not even worth it to stay and wait another hour for a meal we did not want. Awful service and experience overall, yes the drinks are good, but leave it at that. My husband and I had one more encounter there when we asked my family to come visit from the Boston area. They all wanted a good drink so we decided Bar One was the only real option that was close by. When we got to Bar One my sister asked what was in a certain martini and to our surprise the waitress said she would not serve us, only water, because she felt uncomfortable. Yes, we were all talking pretty loud and laughing, having a good time. Because that's how my family is, but in NO way were we drunk and deserved not to be served. And even if we did have a drink prior (which we did not) we did not drive to the bar. My family came all the way from Boston and it was such an embarrassment. I am disgusted with this place, it will never be up to the standard of any Boston bar or restaurant.
