Driving from Toronto to Schomberg to visit The Scottish Nook for their delicious meat pies, tarts, and shortbread made by owner Gerry Duffy, enjoying lunch with pies, peas, gravy, and tea while engaging in great conversations with Gerry and his staff, especially Mary, and stocking up on pies, tarts, and British food items for the freezer, as well as purchasing candies, a purse hook, and other goodies, all while appreciating the warm hospitality and unique offerings of this sweet mom and pop shop.
