After a local's suggestion following a tasting at Montauk Brewing Company, I tried Shagwong and was impressed by some of the best Buffalo wings I've ever had, along with amazing fish tacos and a blackened fish sandwich. The atmosphere is old-school with friendly, attentive service, and despite its unassuming exterior, it offers excellent food, cold beer, and a welcoming vibe that includes allowing dogs inside.

After a local's recommendation, I decided to try out Shagwong following a tasting at Montauk Brewing Company - and it lived up to the hype! The buffalo wings were some of the best I've ever had, and the fish tacos and blackened fish sandwich were equally delicious. The service was fantastic, and the ambiance of this little gem is just right for a relaxing meal.
