Good service and good food

Extremely disappointed!!! I've been here before and the food is good. However, me and my family stopped there on 3/17/22 at 1:45 only to be told by the waitress that they were closed. I explained to her that we came from San Diego, CA on our way to Texas and made it a point to stop there. All she could say was "I'm sorry but the grill is already off." To the owner, you advertise that your hours are 6:00 - 2:00 but shut your kitchen down before that time. Why bother posting hours? If you are shutting down early so that you and your staff can leave by 2:00 then maybe you should advertise an earlier closing time so that people don't waste fuel and time traveling there. Also, don't post take out from 6:00 - 3:00 if that's not the case. The same waitress looked at me like I had lobsters coming out of my ears because I asked about ordering something to go. Very inconsiderate to people planning to patronize your establishment!
