The aroma of fresh spices and warm tortillas filled the air as the friendly staff served generous portions with a smile. Though the decor felt a bit worn, the vibrant flavors-especially the mole sauce and seafood chimichanga-brought a comforting reminder of authentic Mexican cuisine far from the border. Whether dining in the cozy, well-lit room or taking food to go, each bite was a satisfying escape that left me eager to return.

The food was served promptly and had a decent taste. Hailing from Southern California, where authentic Mexican cuisine is abundant, I found this Oregon establishment to offer a satisfying alternative.

the shrimp tasted like it has been in the freezer from before the pandemic started. bad, very bad. never again. jack in the box is looking better all the time. at least you know you will get bad food up front and it will not cost you 40.00.

We like Toreros best for Mexican food in Cottage Grove. They don't water down the beans and food is hot and consistently good!
