The food was excellent, especially the restaurant week specials and Mediterranean dishes like fish and lamb, with standout crostini options and desserts, while the service was generally sweet, attentive, and polite despite occasional rushing and some confusion over gluten-free items, though the seating upstairs felt uncomfortably close and the hostess was somewhat rude about reservations, but overall the atmosphere was elegant yet laid-back, making for a mostly enjoyable dining experience that I look forward to repeating.
