The lodge has been recently renovated, and I was pleasantly surprised by the updated rooms and public areas. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall cozy Autumn ambiance with a burning fireplace in the lobby. While the onsite restaurant had a long wait for food, the server made up for it by periodically apologizing and offering complimentary homemade potato chips.
