I grabbed a frozen Gino's East pizza from the grocery store, and my husband, who's new to Chicago, loved it so much he wanted to check out the actual restaurant. We had a family dinner with our daughter on a Friday night, enjoying a caprese salad, minestrone soup, and buffalo wings while waiting for our deep dish pizza, which was delicious and didn't take as long as expected. While our waiter was a bit forgetful, the food was fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan and gluten-free options that I can't wait to try again!
