The market, though no longer serving ready-made food, offers a wide variety of canned and frozen goods, with the exception of the butcher counter where goat heads are sold for $2.57 per pound. Lunchtime tends to be busy, so visiting during off-peak hours may be preferable. Despite the language barrier and limited English-speaking staff, the store is a great place to discover unique Middle Eastern foods, including a diverse selection of teas, spices, cheeses, oils, and more.
