After leaving the Talladega races, we were en route to our hotel when my granddaughter suddenly declared her hunger. Searching for nearby dining options, Rawhide BBQ appeared just 1.9 miles away. Despite my initial worry due to the sparse parking lot, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a diverse menu. Each of us ordered different dishes and were pleasantly surprised by the flavorful BBQ sauces and the delicious Brunswick Stew. The owner shared insights about the busy lunch rush, prompting us to savor our meal and take home an extra quart of stew. If passing through the area again, Rawhide BBQ would certainly be a stop worth making.
