I visited Appalachian Ski Mountain on a weekday in early March and had some slopes almost entirely to myself, which made learning and improving so much fun. The instructors were super helpful, the staff was friendly, and the food was surprisingly good for a ski resort. Despite some fake snow melting during lunch due to warm weather, the overall vibe was relaxed and perfect for a beginner-friendly family trip.

I visited a ski resort with conflicting reviews but found it to be quite enjoyable. Arriving on a weekday in early March, I had the slopes mostly to myself. The instructors were helpful, and I was able to progress to more challenging slopes after a lesson.
