The food here is absolutely outstanding, with dishes like the Cajun chicken pot pie, gumbo, shrimp and oyster po'boys, and hush puppies that deliver authentic, comforting Southern flavors. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a meal with family-just be sure to call early for the popular pot pie on Thursdays, as it sells out fast!

This place is my BEST discovery in the past 20 years. I grew up East of New Orleans on the Gulf of Mexico eating this cuisine. The Workshop prepares these Cajun/Creole dishes with Authenticity and perfection to the extent I would put them side-by-side with the best seafood restaurants on the Gulf Coast. I have had the oyster Poboy, shrimp Po boy, jambalaya, and grilled veges on my only two visits. I can't wait to try the gumbo and beignets along with some Cafe Du Monde coffee. From the pictures they look authentic and absolutely perfect, the way I remember them back home. Not to mention the owners Danny his wife Naomi are very welcoming and hospitable. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try in Benicia, you will think you are in the best Poboy house in New Orleans.

Every item I have had has been excellent. Owners are very hospitable. This is a small jewel in Benicia and the Bay as a whole. Too bad it is only open for lunch because there are time I crave the Workshop's food for dinner! The soft shell crab Po Boy is exceptional when available.

Owners very niCe to customers ,food is fantastic ! I need to try something beside the Shrimp Po Boys !! Maybe oyster Po Boys !! All delish !!
