I do want to say the waitress was wonderful but the food was not. We had four dinners. Both of the fish dinners were very very thin and over cooked burnt in spots. The meatloaf did not seem done and both it and mashed potatoes were cold. The pot roast dinner was good but not hot. We paid almost $100 plus tip for 4 dinners. We did get piece of pie for dessert which was good. Really disappointed in the dinners though.

My husband raves about Browns Country Kitchen’s breakfast, so last Sunday he took me there, only we arrived when they were no longer serving breakfast. Was disappointed, but after our lunch was served, my disappointment vanished!! I ordered the “Special “ hot turkey , stuffing and mashed potatoes!! OMG everything on my plate was incredible!! The stuffing was exceptional, best that I ever had!! Hoping that the very talented cook will share their recipe with me. Seriously , I could eat an entire pan of this stuffing!! The turkey was even better than Thanksgiving day turkey, so moist, cut it with a fork! Mashed potatoes tasted like they were made from scratch. My husband ordered the Liver and onions, he couldn’t stop raving about it!! Can’t wait to come back early so that I can experience their famous breakfast ! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!! You will not be disappointed.

We go to Brown's Country Kitchen in Portersville frequently. Always have a wonderful experience. The waitresses are friendly, the food is great! Would recommend.

Went for dinner. Waited 20 mins for the waitress to come to our table. Dinner finally came-it was cold. The potatoes were refrigerator cold. Could not get waitress to stop back. Finally was able to grab another waitress/bus girl after 30 mins and she took food back to kitchen. Waited another 30 mins-the waitress has yet to return to our table-no refills, no rolls,my food still not back out, etc. Finally got up and went to register. Asked for manager, who we had just seen in kitchen 30 secs ago. Was told he just left. Waitress now shows up and hands me the bill-seriously, where have you been the past 1.5 hrs? Another waitress came out-explained the situation-she goes to kitchen and I see her pull my food out of microwave-I tell her I no longer want it, we are leaving and it is cold and has been sitting. Ask for bill adjustment and get my dinner taken off. No adjustment for other cold dinner.Tell her if the waitress had ever bothered to come back to our table, she would have known what was going on and may have gotten a tip-I used to waitress and tip very well-this is the first time I did not tip at all. Called the restaurant the next morning and spoke to manager-he said he would talk to her . Will not return. (They were not that busy either and there was no reason that the 3 waitresses could not have handled the 7 tables, including ours-after all, one of them was helping bus tables as she apparently did not even have any to wait on).
