I visited this ice cream shop for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes - three scoops turned out to be more like a pint! The variety of flavors was impressive, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I particularly enjoyed the Cookie Dough with chocolate chips and the Perry's ice cream they offer. Although they are only open in the spring and summer, the prices are great and the portions are generous - I would definitely recommend getting a soft serve cone and a 6-pack of ice cream sandwiches to go.

Great quality, huge portions both soft serve & dipped. Spotless clean, excellent service. Local ownership / management that is very Community oriented. Just good family fun w/ a quality product & friendly service.

I would give it 5 stars if they would bring back toasted almond fudge flavor. was so happy to see they were open only to find out they don't have it anymore. was their biggest seller. live a few blocks from Glen's in Lower Burrell and would always go to Sweetie's. guess no more.

Love the flavors and variety, I won't go anywhere else now. Good service, great taste, can't beat it.
