This casual izakaya has a lively atmosphere and stays open later than most places in downtown San Mateo, making it perfect for late-night bites and drinks with friends. The fresh fish, perfectly balanced rice-to-fish ratio, and friendly, attentive staff keep me coming back again and again for dishes like okonomiyaki and takoyaki that hit just right every time.
