Sushi is always fresh and tasty- the sushi chef is wonderful and puts a lot of care into what he makes. If you want substitutions in maki rolls or even in the boats he finds something to fit your needs.
The hibachi is typically very tasty, but the waitstaff is sub par, and that is putting it nicely. I never tip below 20% unless the service is very poor, and I find myself tipping under 20% here almost every time (unless we sit at the bar- Todd is the bartender and is a very good server).
So while I would go here daily for the food if I could, the waitstaff really needs to get their act together. There is no reason that I should have to get my OWN drink refill when my waitress is sitting in the corner playing cards with 6 other workers. Should a customer be made to feel badly about interrupting the waitress's poker game? Absolutely not! Tokyo we love you, but please make sure your staff checks on your customers periodically! That is what we tip them for!
